Savannah to Busan ocean freight
Our busiest lane. Full containers and LCL from Savannah and the US Southeast to Busan, booked with the major ocean lines and handled by one senior coordinator.
How a Savannah to Busan shipment works
- Quote. Tell us the cargo, the pickup address and the Incoterms. You get an all-in rate and a sailing within 1 business day.
- Pickup. We truck the container or your pallets from your dock to the Port of Savannah, or you deliver to the terminal yourself.
- Export filing and documents. We file the AES export declaration, check your paperwork and issue the bill of lading.
- Ocean transit. The cargo sails on a confirmed vessel with one of the major lines. You follow it in your client portal and get an email when it departs and arrives.
- Arrival in Busan. We coordinate with the consignee and their Korean customs broker so the cargo clears and is collected or delivered without delays.
Documents you'll need
- Commercial invoice with the buyer, seller, goods and value.
- Packing list with weights, dimensions and the number of packages.
- Shipper details for the AES filing, such as your EIN. We tell you exactly what we need.
- An export license, only if your goods need one. Most don't; we'll check with you.
What the rate includes
Your quote lists every charge up front: trucking to the port if you need it, origin terminal and documentation fees, and the ocean freight. Destination charges, duties and Korean taxes depend on the Incoterms you agree with your buyer. We'll explain who pays what before you book.
Coming the other way?
We run this lane in both directions. See importing from Korea to the US.
Tell us what you're shipping
Fill in the basics and our team comes back with an all-in ocean rate, transit time and the next available sailing on your lane, within 1 business day.
- All-in pricing. Ocean, haulage, clearance and fees, quoted together, not drip-fed.
- No obligation. A quote is a quote. Book when the numbers and timing work for you.
- A real person replies. You'll deal with a named coordinator, not a ticket queue.
